I’ve read Operation Beautiful for quite a while now and I love the fantastic stories and ideas. It’s a great idea and a fantastic cause. But every once in a while, I see a message that says, “Real women have curves.” Even though I’m accused of being anorexic occasionally, I’m not – I eat more than the average cow. But I have a high metabolism, so I don’t have a lot of curves. So that kinda docks my confidence when I see it.
I’ve been posting these in the bathroom of my school every morning and afternoon, a particular girl keeps taking them down *sigh* … I’m not really sure what to do, but I keep putting them up, all around the bathroom, behind the toilet doors – EVERYWHERE. I even went to Priceline and put a post-it note on a Celebrity Slim pack! (: …. we gotta keep fighting back insecurity in the best way we know how 😀

I agree – all women are beautiful, curves or not!

You should write a note just for the girl! Write “Why do you take me down? I make other people happy! Be happy, too and know that you are beautiful!”
