Send your own Operation Beautiful Note to Caitlin at [email protected], and it will be posted on the site. If you have a blog, be sure to include a link!  It takes about three weeks for a photograph to show up on the site, so be patient! :)

Write a motivating note on a post it and put it up in a public place– such as on a bathroom mirror, in the gym locker room, or even on a random car’s windshield.  If you want, you can write the web address www.OperationBeautiful.com on the bottom so other women can find the site!

I found a note that says “find beauty in character not in a size” in a book at a library.

I was sitting in my schools computer lab when a random guy leaned forward and passed me a yellow post-it note. As he passed it to me he said “hey, this is your late valentines day gift”. I giggled and immediately put it in my coat pocket. When I got home and took my coat off, the post-it fell on the ground. When I picked it up it read “You are amazing” and at the bottom it said “operationbeautiiful.com. This is the most thoughtful site I’ve come across in a long time. I Support your mission!

Please watch this video! It has a powerful message about media pressure on one’s perception of their body image. Please watch and share! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=yPW_kiVesG0

i think that this is a truly inspirational site and i love it! it is a great idea and i will be looking forward to posting more notes for students in my local school. my friend introduced me to this and she has helped me learn that everybody can be a different size and shape and treating everybody the same way is an amazing way to show people that yes you are just the same as them.

I have a paper of picture cutouts that my daughter made for me when she was about 10. I have it hanging in my kitchen to remind me what’s important. One of the cutouts is a picture of an operation beautiful post-it. Then I saw something on Friday that reminded me of your cause. I was having a really bad morning, having lost my Dad 4 weeks ago. I help out at our school, so I decided to pick myself up and go see the kids at school to get out of my funk but operation beautiful was still on my mind all day. So in the elementary teachers’ bathroom, they have post-its where you can leave little messages. So, I did. I hope it helps someone, anyone as much as it helped me to leave it there. God bless you all. We need to teach our daughters and ourselves that we are just fine the way we are no matter what anyone says!

Love this idea – what a beautiful commitment to supporting others!! Sometimes it really does take only one comment to change your day, or life for the good or the bad! When I was in 5th grade, my teacher had our class sit in a big circle – she gave us each an index card & write our name on it – then we passed it to the left & were instructed to write on positive attribute about the person who’s name was on the card & then pass all the way around the circle! that was 35 years ago & I STILL HAVE THAT CARD & STILL PULL IT OUT TO LOOK AT IT!!! -… nice eyes, kind, a good friend, fun to be with….I cherish them all!!

The only criticism I have is that MEN need to be inspired just as much as WOMEN. We often neglect our young boys and young men.

This website is extremely amazing! I have started writing notes on sticky notes and sticking them to mirrors in bathrooms! At the end of the day yesterday I visited the bathroom and all of the notes were gone :D I hope that people take them and leave feeling GREAT about themselves! I wish more people were this considerate of women and girls and tried to make them feel beautiful! The mission here is very inspiring and I LOVE IT!

I just started using operation beautiful notes. It feels really good to write to others. I have posted 4 in the school bathroom, 1 in a doctors office, 1 on the band room door, and 4 in random places in DC. I really hope others start doing it too at my school. I’ve been having lots of problems lately and Operation Beautiful has definitely changed the way I see myself. Thank you!!!!

I’ve always been thinking “all the popular girls are perfect, why can’t I be? Why don’t boys flirt with me and why isn’t my hair always perfect? But ti wasn’t me. I’m perfect just the way I am and I’m proud to be a part of Operation Beautiful. Wherever I go I bring notes and think OUR IMPERFECTIONS MAKE US UNIQUE, THEREFORE DON’T COVER THEM UP, WE ARE BEAUTIFUL.

u dont need to look perfect to be perfect! god make you the person that you are, so embrace it! it is the inner beauty that counts, it doesnt matter what guy wants or doesnt want you, its about being yourself!

What we tend to forget is that our imperfections are just as much a part of us as our perfections! We are all beautiful! :) :) :)

After reading this comment i cried…mostly because i totally agree. Why is SHE gettin all the attention…whats so special about her? After seeing everything everyone else had to say i feel alot better! I will never understand why boys like her and not me…but i can make the best of it! I am inspired to be more confident and NEVER-EVER make fun of any girl…you inspired me to inspire others!!!
