Annie wrote, “I did something bold tonight. I gave an individual Operation Beautiful note to a woman, right to her face. I am a waitress, and tonight I was waiting on her and her date, and at the end of the meal the guy wanted a dessert and picked one right away. She wanted one too, and debated for a few minutes about it. In the end she decided not to get one, saying "I’ve been bad, and I’ll just have to work it off anyway". That made me really uncomfortable, and I didn’t know what to say to her. I decided I needed to do something, though, so I wrote her a note and gave it to her right before they left. The note said, "You count, calories don’t. Operationbeautiful.com :-)" I was so nervous to actually give it to her and had no idea how she would react. I didn’t get any reaction from her regarding the note, but she seemed happy when she left!!!”

Sydney wrote, “I heard about Operation Beautiful a couple of months ago , and decided to give it a shot. I must admit, i was a little bit nervous..What if people saw me? Would they think I’m weird? Creepy? But then I realized I was just following the typical trends of worrying about fitting in. I changed my thinking, and HAPPILY ran thru the Diet section in the books Department at Loblaws Superstore, and put post its in each diet book. People saw me. I didn’t care. Because I knew one day, someone will open that book hoping to be thinner, prettier, sexier, and then see my note. I never felt so happy in my life.”
Deb wrote, “I posted this at the cancer hospital. A young woman watched me place this note and take the photo. She nodded and smiled. I smiled back. It was a nice moment.” See Deb’s note in the middle of the poster?
