When I was a teenager, I always lamented about my physique…thighs too big, lack of toning, etc. Oh what I’d do for that body now! If I’d known then what a toll life can take with the freshman 15, childbirth and getting comfortable in a marriage and life. What energy I wasted on wishing I was different when I should have just been enjoying my carefree youth. I need to make a conscious effort to tell my tween often how beutiful she is so she doesn’t waste any energy on such things and cherishes her youth.
Rules to remember: DON’T listen to what others say, DON’T EVER believe that the hurtful things people utter geared towards your self-esteem are true, because there not, just look at yourself and KNOW, you are beautiful just the way you are. But, most importantly, DON’T lower yourself by putting anyother person down because they did to you. LOVE YOURSELF!
Yeah, someone posted a note in my school’s bathroom as well. I wonder if I could figure out who did it. Does anyone know how to find the person who posted the note? Or is Operation Beautiful an anonomous operation?
Great contest Caitlin.. I think it really encourages people to get involved!!
Just wondering when the contest closes?
January 26!
Are Canadian citizens or residents outside of the U.S.A eligible?
Sure!
When I tried to download the release form, Adobe Reader said “This file is damaged and could not be repaired.” 🙁 What happened?
Hi Paige – I’ll email you the file! Let me know if it doesn’t work.
Thank you, I’m printing it out now. 🙂
When we submit, do we send only one picture? Or can we include multiple? If it’s multiple, do they each have to be separate entries?
You can send in as many photos as you want! I just need one release and one story.
Just let me know in each email that it’s for the book! 🙂
yay!

Only if they confess 🙂
Um, do we just submit them here?
