Tori wrote, “This was round two of our "take over our school’s bathroom mirror with OB notes" day. We did a frame around both of our mirrors in the bathroom! We encouraged everyone to leave their own notes, too.”
Anna Marie wrote, “This really made me want to cry. All my life people have told me how ugly I am and how much of an idiot I am. I lived in an abusive situation growing up and one of the things my father used to say to me was, "if you can pinch more than an inch, you are too fat" (of course this was only one of many abusive things and didn’t help my self image at all). I eventually went to foster care and they were almost as bad. I lived with many abusive people and escaped an abusive marriage amongst other things. I am now remarried to an awesome husband who helps me with everything he can but I still suffer from bad self image problems. The notes I found today made me want to happy cry because although I know whoever posted it did not personally see me, I know that there are people who feel strongly enough to tell me good things about me. This really renew my hope in humanity.”
