Transforming the way you see yourself one post-it note at a time
I had been doing this for a while at my school. I was having a rough time, so i thought maybe others were too, so this was my way of helping. I started feeling really stupid about doing it, so I stopped. Then, about a week later, I found one for myself. I just spent time minutes making a bunch for when I go back to school!
So glad someone else is getting involved, too!
Hi, I’m Clara! I’m 12 years old, and I go to a junior high in Manitoba. I’ve been participating in Operation Beautiful for about 5 months, and I love it! 🙂
I told my friends about Operation Beautiful, and they visited the website. They loved the idea too, and we formed a small group! We encourage other students at school to join our group, and so far we have 12 memebers (4 new, 8 of us all friends)! We all do projects with Operation Beautiful, like going to local grocery stores or mall parking lots and sticking Operation Beautiful notes on people’s cars, maybe going to a large mall and passing out notes for everyone to read, or even going to large stores and posting, what, 150 notes on bathroom and changing room mirrors!
We all participate, even my 8-year-old sister! We all love Operation Beautiful, and I was thinking about making notes and sticking them on everyone’s lockers at school! Like the idea?
I hope others take our path and spread the word about Operation Beautiful. It’s a great confidence booster!
I love the idea!!!!
