Have you ever seen the video that inspired Operation Beautiful?

Operation Beautiful is gearing up for the annual Fat Talk Free week (October 19 to the 25).  Sign the pledge that you won’t Fat Talk at all that week… and hopefully, never again!

More information on Fat Talk Free week is to come!

Wow. I only discovered this website on Friday night, and I can’t stop thinking about Operation Beautiful.

I posted my first post-it yesterday.

I’ve started a chat thread on an Australian Fashion Forum to start to spread the word.

I’ve emailed an Australian TV show about your website and Fat Talk Free week, so they may be able to reach out to people.

Small steps, but this is what Operation Beautiful is about, right? Love your work Caitlin xoxo

I LOVE this idea! You never realize how much “fat talk” creeps into our everyday conversations. I’m signing the pledge. :) That video is very eyeopening, thanks for sharing.

Wow what a powerful video…I have a freshman in college who is obsessed about her weight. I’m signing the pledge and will be sending her this information. Thanks for the eye opener! :)

I am living with a 29 year eating disorder and both of my beautiful daughters also have eating disorders. One of which is very serious and as I was writing about negative self image for our paper, my daughter showed me your web site and I was enlightened and reminded. Reminded about the idea that there is life beyond what I know and that encouraged me to hope and believe that I and my daughters will find freedom through support from women like you. Best of luck on your life altering project.

That was such a powerful and inspiring video! I am going to make a huge effort to stop the fat talk and encourage my friends to do the same. I am proud Tri Delt is attacking such a crucial issue that so many college girls tend to ignore in favor of pursuing an unrealistic and often unhealthy thin ideal. I wrote an article for Her Campus trying to address this issue and tried to give girls helpful tips to start loving their body as-is. http://www.hercampus.com/school/umich/love-your-booty
