  1. I’m so excited about this! How long are we going to have before notes are due? With Christmas coming up, it’s going to be difficult for my best friend and I to do a posting spree together so I was wondering if I should just go ahead and submit my individual notes. Thanks for this opportunity!

    1. Sarah – the sooner you get your notes in, the better and the higher the odds are that I’ll use it in the book. Submit your individual notes and forward the link to your BFF so she can send in her notes, too! I’d love to see stuff from both of you!

  2. Hi Caitlin i submit a form i know you perfer ages 9-16 yr olds but im not in thoes age groups im 25 yrs old and i love ladies and young teens to know they are beautifully made in god’s image .

    1. Hello, Miss Veronica. πŸ™‚

      It’s 9-16
      and 17+

Good luck, Miss, if you decide to enter! πŸ˜€

    1. Katie – January 10 is the deadline but the real answer is the sooner, the better πŸ™‚ I’ll select notes on a first come, first serve basis!

  3. What makes you feel SUPER confident? What is your favorite thing to do in the whole world?

My answer: One thing that makes me feel super confident is wearing the clothes that make me feel good. Im not into what everyone else in my school is wearing, i have my own sense of style that i try to stick to. I don’t like to wear a lot of make up, because i feel as though a women is most beautiful in their natural form. One of my favorite things to do is dance! I love dancing; it is a great way to releave stress, and its a great way to get some physical activity in everyday (or week)! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has high stress levels and someone who lacks self-confidence. Dancing is a great way to “show your own moves” and express your inner talent!

      1. Hi Caitlin i got your email and i also reply back hope that works fine for you and i also have another one if you would like let me know with a different following topics above.

  4. Question: Who is the most beautiful woman you know? What has she done for you or other people that makes her so beautiful?

Answer: The most beautiful woman I know is my Mom. Besides being beautiful on the outside, she is also the most special, kind and loving woman I’ve ever known. She has 4 children, but she somehow manages to take care of everyone, and let every kid know how much she loves each and every one of us. I can testify that her love is unconditional – during all these years I’ve been struggling anorexia, she was always by my side. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank her enough for everything she did and still does for me. All I can say is that my love for her has become unconditional, too. She’ll always be my role model and the most beautiful woman I know.

  5. Question: Who is the most beautiful woman you know? What has she done for you or other people that makes her so beautiful?

My Answer: I’d have to say my mom because she has done alot and been there for my two older brothers and I , And she is beautiful inside and out and for that i’m thankful for having such amazing mom like her. She is a kind and loving woman I’ve ever known.she somehow manages to take care of everyone, and let every kid know how much she loves each and every one of us. I can testify that her love is unconditional. All I can say is that my love for her has become unconditional, too. She’ll always be my role model and the most beautiful woman I know.

      1. Hi Caitlin,

  6. I feel different from the kids at my school because Im overweight and i have acne…….my bestfriend is so prety….shes skiny and doesnt have pimples…..i feel like the guy i used to like only dated girls because of how they looked. I dont feel obesity is a big problem at my school and most of the girls are sooo prety and i feel like i dont fit in with all of them. But i believe that true beauty comes from love and how u r on the inside not out and that every girl can be beautiful if they truly believe theyre beautiful

    1. You are beautiful, Nicole! Truly πŸ™‚ Focus on being happy and healthy; being different isn’t bad! Real men worth liking care about who you are, not just what you look like.

  7. My PC was down what is the deadline because I really want to send something in. Would I have to mail it your could I email ny entry because lately I’ve been feeling down and I would like to say what helped me and I’m 17 and I want to try and say what worked for me. And I’m in Canada and it would take far to long for me to mail it to you?

  8. After having a New Year’s party, I found a sticky note on the wall of my powder room that was recently remodeled and did not yet have a mirror. It read, “I love that there is no mirror in here! You are beautiful and do not need a mirror to see it!!! πŸ™‚ operationbeautiful.com”. I knew it must have been put there by my friend, Becky Cortina, who is on the board of Girls on the Run in the NorthWest suburbs of Chicago, IL. It was the icing on the cake of what had been a great evening with friends!! It is still there and makes me smile every time I see it. Anyone that sees it comments on how much they like the note!

  9. The above entry was not intended for the book. I was just viewing everything on your site and wanted to let you know what a great idea you have! I realized afterwards what I had done.

  10. Is it still possible to submit a story of myself? I only got to know operation beautiful recently. And I also started to post notes around whenever I can. (:

  11. i wish i had known about this sooner!!! me and two of my closest friends are planning on getting all the bathrooms in our school with notes tomorow! we’re going to try to get all the info for the contest in by tomorow. wish us luck!

  12. I was never the “pretty” girl, the “skinny” girl, or the “popular” girl…Ever since I was about 7 years old, kids would make it very well known that I was the “fat” girl or the “nerdy” girl. They teased me everday and degrated me so much until I was about 12 and I decided that I had enough. That’s when my eating disorder came into play. It ruined my life, my relationships, and my health. I couldn’t talk to anybody about it, and it was a daily strugle to just keep it a secret. Now, I am 14, and I am happy to say they I am slowly, ever so slowly getting to a place where I can see that it’s not about what other people think. We were made for a special purpose, and if we worry about our outer appearance all the time, we won’t be able to do the amzing things that we were meant to do!!!
